What is MDW?

Municipal DataWorks (MDW) is a web based “asset management business solution” designed to assist municipalities with the task of maintaining and managing their tangible capital assets.

MDW was created to address the needs of all municipalities for the standardization of data management and information about municipal assets.

Training

Training through webinars and workshops is provided for MDW with sessions on:

  • Data capture for asset inventory and condition assessment
  • Inspections for roads and bridges based on Ontario standards
  • Asset valuation for tangible capital asset for PSAB compliance
  • Capital planning

Province-Wide Reporting

MDW provides OGRA with high level aggregate data on municipal infrastructure that will be used by OGRA to advocate for sustainable funding on behalf of our membership.
